Our Agreement Terms & Conditions

By accepting professional cleaning service appointments and agreeing to a service provided by Clean Homes Cincy the client agrees to accept Clean Homes Cincy terms and conditions listed below. These terms and conditions, together with our appointment confirmation and our cleaning service list, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and no other representation or statements, whether oral or written, shall be binding upon the parties. If any part of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect.

 

Cleaning Times

We do our best to be prompt and meet the cleaning time indicated, but traffic, other clients and unforeseen circumstances may affect our scheduled arrival time. Therefore, please understand that all appointment times are approximate arrival times. If your scheduled cleaner is going to be more than 30 minutes late, we will do our best to contact you. Our cleaning people appreciate your flexibility.

 

Confirmation

Booking a service online doesn’t guarantee you a spot for that date and time. Your booking is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email or text from Clean Homes Cincy.

 

Cancellation Policy

If the customer needs to cancel or reschedule a cleaning, they must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. If the customer cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice, they will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost of the scheduled cleaning.

 

Inclement Weather

If we have to cancel your visit due to bad weather conditions; we will contact you to reschedule your cleaning. We ask that you please be aware of the conditions outside of your home on the day that we are scheduled. Please keep driveways and walkways clear and salted, as needed, so that our staff can access your home without getting injured. If you feel that we may not be able to access the home because of the conditions, please contact us in advance to let us know.

 

Access to Premises

The customer agrees to provide our company with access to the premises to be cleaned on the scheduled cleaning date. Our cancellation fee will be charged if we are unable to access your home. We will not accept the responsibility of disarming or arming your alarm. We will not maintain control of any household keys. We will lock doors behind us if requested.

 

Service Quality Guarantee

Clean Homes Cincy strives to provide outstanding cleaning services for our clients. We prefer to conduct a walkthrough at the beginning and end of services to address any issues or requests the client has, but if this is not possible and you are unhappy with any cleaning service provided, you are required to notify us within 24 hours of service in order for us to address and correct the problem. If we receive prompt notification, we will schedule a time to come back to examine the problem. If the problem involves the quality of service we have provided, we pledge to correct the problem at no charge. If we do not receive notice of a problem within 24 hours of the cleaning, or if you decide to correct the problem yourself, we will not be able to correct the problem for you, nor will you be compensated for your inconvenience. Please keep in mind that if you have purchased hourly cleaning, we can only guarantee that a cleaner will stay for the specified amount of time. We may not be able to complete all tasks if time runs short. Therefore, if the problem involves the time needed to complete the cleaning service rather than the quality of the service itself, we can only correct the problem if you purchase additional cleaning time.

Additionally, our service technicians have a specific cleaning process they follow. This allows for the most efficient use of their time, reduces the chances of missing an area, and provides our clients with the best service possible. Though they can be asked to start in a certain room, their process cannot be altered much beyond that.

 

Health and Safety

All equipment, including electrical, to be used, must be in good working order. Any customer’s home we clean must be a safe working environment in which to do our job properly. Health and safety is important to you as the customer and to Clean Homes Cincy to eliminate any possible accidents.

 

Right to Refuse Service

Cleaning technicians have the choice to leave upon arrival if the home is in extreme condition or they feel unsafe or threatened. If you book a cleaning online that is not reasonable, such as a cleaning up after a large party, the cleaners may refuse service on the spot and you will be charged the standard cancellation fee.

 

Areas We Do Not Clean

Clutter

Clutter is a mass of trash, items, nick-nacks, or personal items on the countertops, furniture and/or floors of your home. Clutter significantly inhibits our ability to perform our cleaning tasks efficiently and stay on schedule.

It is crucial that you pick up clutter from the rooms you want us to clean before we show up. There are many reasons we don’t clean around excessive clutter.

If a room has enough clutter to cover the floor, we will not be able to clean that room.

If your countertops, or furniture are covered in clutter, we will clean around the clutter without moving items, if the clutter leaves nearly no visible countertop space, we will skip this area. If we have to leave your home due to clutter, you will be charged for the time we were there, or 50% of the total fee, whichever is greater.

Difficult to Access/Clean Areas

Clean Homes Cincy cannot guarantee the results of mini-blinds, grout, chandelier, or vaulted ceiling fan cleaning.

Mold

Clean Homes Cincy does not provide mold remediation and cannot be liable for any mold related risks in our clients home. Clean Homes Cincy does not assume responsibility for the restoration of severely worn, stained or mildewed caulking and grout.

Additionally, we are not equipped to clean bug infestations, bodily fluids, or extensive grease or fire damage.

 

Limitation of Liability

We will not be liable for items broken or damaged due to product wear-and-tear, nor damage to or caused by fixtures that are not properly secured such as pictures, mirrors, window treatments, wall coverings, lack of furniture glides for wood floors, lack of scratch covers on the bottom of furniture decor, cabinet mounted appliances, and household accessories. We will not be liable for damage that is not reported within 24-hours of your last cleaning. We will not accept liability for damages directly or indirectly caused by non-standard company products and equipment requested to be used.

 

Assigned Cleaner

Your assigned cleaner is indicated on your account. This person will be your regular cleaner with the exception of illness, vacation, or personal emergency. In the event your assigned cleaner ends employment with the company, he or she will be replaced with another trained cleaner who has been briefed on the details of your home and cleaning services.

 

Cleaning Supplies / Equipment

Clean Homes Cincy provides products and nearly all equipment required for cleaning your home, with the exception of a vacuum. It is required that your home has running water and working electrical outlets. We reserve the right to charge our standard cancellation fee if we are not provided with running water or electricity. Our technicians are not allowed to climb past the second step of a step stool. If you would like us to use specialty products (e.g. simply green, stainless steel cleaner, sponge mop), please leave it out and include this request in your special account instructions. We are not responsible for ANY damage caused by cleaning products provided by the customer. We will not use bleach in your home under any circumstances.

If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, Clean Homes Cincy does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

In no event shall Clean Homes Cincy or its service techs be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption), arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on our website. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

Clean Homes Cincy may revise these terms of use for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

Any claim relating to Clean Homes Cincy’s website shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

General Terms and Conditions applicable to Use of a Website

 

Non-Solicit

When entering into an agreement for services with Clean Homes Cincy, you agree not to solicit for hire any service techs introduced to you by Clean Homes Cincy for any home‐related services. We spend a lot of time, money and resources finding, interviewing, checking references and backgrounds, and training our techs. Each cleaning technician signs an agreement barring them from performing any home‐related service for any of our past or present customers. However, if you do wish to contract with a staff member directly please discuss this matter with the owner. If you are found to have solicited one of our staff please be advised that our referral/ training fee is $2,500 per service tech.
